Stand Up Paddle Boarding In Kent
Located on the bank of the idyllic River Stour, our holiday park in Canterbury makes for the perfect opportunity to try your hand at a spot of stand up paddle boarding in Kent. The River Stour’s gentle flow and calm waters make for the perfect location for beginners to learn the skills and grow confidence to kick start your stand up paddle boarding adventures.
Join a lesson
If you’re new to paddle boarding or simply wish to grow your skills, why not join the lessons taking place right here on the River Stour next to Dog & Duck Leisure Park.
Join SUP and Skate Margate on the water. The personalised and friendly lessons take place with their qualified WSA instructor, Paul. Lessons consist of a maximum of 4 people per lesson, perfect for all abilities.
Once the class has completed participants will have the opportunity to part take in an individual class in the ocean at Margate beach.
Prices
Private 1 to 1 class – £75
Private couples class – £100
Private group class (over 3 people) – £40 per person
Private family class (2 adults & 2 children*) – £140
*Children over the age of 8 recommended.
What do you need?
All stand up paddle boarding equipment is provided by SUP & Skate Margate. You will need to wear loose comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear. You may also want to bring along some sun cream, water and insect repellent. In the colder months, it is advised that you bring a wetsuit.
